Higher or Lower: Real Life is a daily guessing game that teaches as you play. Every duel is built on real, published numbers: planets and moons, chemical elements, animal lifespans, countries (health, literacy, energy, forests), nutrition, inventions, history and space missions.
AI disclosure: this game was designed and coded with AI help. The numbers and facts were not written by AI. Each number was pulled by script from a public dataset (NASA, NASA JPL, PubChem/NIH, World Bank, U.S. Census Bureau, USDA FoodData Central, AnAge, Wikidata) and is shown with its source. Each "Did you know?" is either a sentence quoted word for word from the Wikipedia article's introduction (CC BY-SA 4.0, linked) or a line computed from the game's own data. Data snapshot: October 22, 2026. Figures change over time, and sources sometimes disagree.
Privacy: no ads, no analytics, no cookies, no email or password accounts. Your stats stay in your browser's local storage. The global leaderboard is optional: if you join, only your chosen nickname, your daily scores and streaks are stored on our server. A random secret key in your browser proves the nickname is yours (we keep only a one-way hash). Your IP address is used only to stop spam. It is hashed and never stored in a readable form, and the hash is deleted within about two hours.
